江戸時代から続く宮田村の夏の祭り。「あばれ神輿」という、神輿を真柱一本になるまで津島神社境内の石段から幾度となく投げ落とし破壊することで、厄よけや商売繁盛といったご利益を得るという変わった風習から｢天下の奇祭｣とも呼ばれています。

A festival in Miyada-mura that has continued since the Edo period. A ritual called Abare Mikoshi, where a Mikoshi is dropped from the Tsushima Shrine stone stairs until it is just a single log of wood. An unusual tradition, which is also called Tenka no Kisai, where it is said that the act of throwing it down the stairs over and over will ward off evil and bring a prosperous business year.
