足助まつりは各町内から出発した４台の山車の上に３、４人が乗り町内で引き回しを行います。夜には山車につけられた梵天を取り合う「梵天投げ」があり、家内安全等のお守りとして誰もが欲しがり、時には取り合いの喧嘩になるくらいに大変人気があります。

Four floats leave from various towns with 3 or 4 participants riding each, parade through town at the Asuke Festival. And at night, there is a competition called the Bontennage, which is a competition to take the Bonten on the floats. It is said to bring safety to the home, so everyone wants to get it. It is a very popular event and at times will turn into a real fight.
