毎年１月の第４日曜日に行われるお祭りで、「どんど焼き」ともいわれます。２５歳の厄男を中心とする裸姿の若衆が、１０mにも及ぶ大幟をどんど焼きの上に倒したり、起したりして「感謝」「無病息災」「大漁満足」「商売繁盛」「学業増進」などの祈りを込め、盛大に祝います。

This festival is held annually on the 4th Sunday of January, and also called "Dondo-yaki" (bonfire ceremony). 25 years old naked young men who are in unlucky year taking a lead to celebrate splendidly with prayers for gratitude, good health, good catch, prosperous business, academic achievement, and more by bringing down and raising 10 m flags on Dondo-yaki.
