伊勢湾に面する南知多町豊浜の夏風物詩となっている「鯛まつり」
豊漁と海の安全を祈り、10～18ｍの竹と木材を組み合わせ、白木綿を巻いてつくった重さ約1トンの巨大な鯛を担いで豊浜を練り歩きます。
また、初日の夜には、迫力満点の尺玉や5基のスターマインが打ち上げられる花火大会も行われます。
The Tai Festival has become a reminder of summer for the Minamichita-cho Toyohama regions, which overlooks the Ise Bay.
Put together with wood and bamboo of 10 to 18 meters long, and covering it white cloth, a large Tai (sea bream) shaped float weighing 1 metric ton is paraded around Toyohama while praying for abundant fishing and safety on the seas.
And on the first day of the festival, a large impactful firework show is held with Shaku sized firework stars, and 5 starmines.
