日本三大七夕まつりの一つとされる夏祭りで、期間中130万人もの人が訪れます。
テーマ曲に合わせて自由に踊るパレード「ワッショーいちのみや」や、ミス七夕・ミス織物による「人力車七夕道中」などのイベントが行われます。

This summer festival is one of the 3 biggest Tanabata Festivals in Japan and 1.3 million people visit during the festival.
There are events held such as free dance parade to music "Wassho Ichinomiya", "Jinrik-isha Tanabata Dochu" by Miss. Tanabata and Miss Orimono, and so on.
