飯田燈籠山祭りは春日神社の神事です。8基の町内山車と2年に1度制作される高さ約16メートル・重さ約5トンを誇る燈籠山人形が飾られる燈籠山（1基）が曳き廻されます。山車は、誰でも曳くことのでき、見るだけではなく体験できる祭りです。
そのほかにも「祇園ばやし」と「きゃーらげ」（木遣り唄）や子供踊りなども行われます。また、花火打ちあがります。

The Iida Toroyama Festival is an event held by Kasuga-jinja Shrine. 8 town floats and one Toroyama (lantern float), which is 52 feet high, weighs 5 tons, and made once in 2 years, are paraded around town. This is a festival that you can participate in as anyone can pull the floats.
