洞川温泉一体で、毎年８月２日3日に開催される行者まつり。
島流しにあった大峯山開祖である役行者が、無罪となり大峯山に戻ったとき、村民たちが熱狂的に出迎えた様子を表したとされる「鬼踊り」で大峯山随一の奇祭と知られる。
その他、２日には健康祈願大護摩や園芸大会、3日は稚児行列や花火大会も催される。
This festival is held on the August 2nd and 3rd at Dorogawa Hot Springs. When the En-no-Gyoja, who was exiled to an island and the first person to set foot on Oomine Mountain, returned to Oomine Mountain without being guilty, the villagers welcomed him back enthusiastically performing dances like the “demon dance”. It is known for being a strange festival. On the second day, health pledge is made and gardening tournament is held. On the third day, children procession and fire display could be seen.
