三谷祭は元禄時代から受け継がれています。４台の山車(ヤマ)で町内を練り歩き、２日目には山車を海に曳き入れ、サラシ姿の氏子たちが海の中を300m曳く「海中渡御」があります。

The Miya Festival has been pass through generations since the Genroku Period. Four floats are paraded through the town, and on the second day the floats are taken into the water at the beach, and the floats are carried in the water for 300 meters by parishioners dress in Sarashi (a large cloth wrapped around the upper body).
