見付天神裸祭は、毎年旧暦８月１０日の直前の土、日曜日にかけて行われる東海道遠州見付に古くから伝わる 矢奈比賣神社 （ヤナヒメジンジャ）の大祭です。
その大祭では裸に新わらで作った腰みのをつけて群衆が町中を練り歩き、拝殿で乱舞することから「裸祭」と呼ばれています。

Mitsuke Tenjin Naked Festival is held on Saturday and Sunday right before August 10th on the lunar calendar, it is a grand festival at Yanahime Shrine passed along in Tokai Enshumitsuke from long ago.
It is called "naked festival" because the naked multitude with new straw raincoats parade throughout town to the front of shrine and dance wildly.
