国の重要無形民族文化財に指定され、「日本三大川まつり」の一つでもある尾張津島天王祭。
宵祭は、船屋台の上に４00余りの提灯を飾りつけた5艘の船で行われます。
翌日の朝祭は、能人形を飾った6艘の車楽船が古楽を奏で進み、市江車の鉾持10人は途中で川に飛び込み神社まで駆けます。

Owari Tsushima Tenno Festival is registered as an Intangible Folk Cultural Properties, and also one of the "3 biggest River Festivals in Japan".
A small festival on the night before a full festival is held on the 5 boat floats with over 400 lanterns.
For the morning festival on the following day, 6 danjiri boat floats decorated with No dolls proceed while playing ancient music, 10 hokomochi on Ichieguruma jump in the river in the middle of the procedure and run to the shrine.
