昭和28年から清水市内の商店街を中心に行われている七夕まつり。
通り沿いには商店街や企業、区内の幼稚園、小学校などから出品された色とりどりの七夕飾りが飾りつけられ、会場内では竹飾りのコンクールも行われます。

A tanabata festival held in around the markets streets of downtown Shimizu since 1953.
Various tanabata decorations can be seen throughout town, at places such as market street shops, company buildings, kindergartens, elementary schools, etc. And at the venue, a bamboo decorating contest is also held.
