浅草サンバカーニバルは。浅草で行われるサンバのパレード及びコンテストです。
1981年から行われる日本で最大のサンバカーニバルのコンテストとして知られています。
各サンバチームの規模に応じてリーグ制によるグループ分けがなされていて、S1とS2リーグではパレードの内容をコンテストで競っています。
豪華な衣装や山車も見どころで、毎年、各チームがEnredo（エンヘード、物語やストーリー、テーマ）を決めて制作しています。
The Asakusa Samba Carnical has a samba parade and contest. You can see gorgeous costumes and floats, and every year each team decides the enredo (the narrative theme).
