利根川、手賀沼付近の台地に点在する鳥見神社のひとつである平岡鳥見神社の例大祭で、保存会によって獅子舞が奉納される。ここの獅子舞は、悪魔払いと豊作を祈念して行われ、舞人は氏子の青年男子が選ばれる。

A Shishi dance is dedicated by the Preservation Committee at the annual festival of Hiraoka Torimi Shrine, one of the Torimi Shrines in the Tone River and Tega Swamp area high grounds. This Shishi dance prays for good harvest and casting away evil spirits. Local young men are chosen as the performers.
