多度大社の御例祭は一般的に多度祭と称され、上げ馬神事はその中の行事（神事）の一つです。 この上げ馬神事は神占いによって選ばれた少年騎手6人が武者姿にて約2メートルの絶壁を人馬一体となって駆け上がる勇壮な神事です。 また、勇壮な神事にあやかり、商売繁盛・学力向上などを願う人々の参拝も多くみられます。

Annual festival of Tado Shrine is generally called Tado Festival and the shinto ritual to lead a horse is one of the events (rituals). It is a thrilling ritual that 6 young horsemen in warrior costume who were chosen by a god divination run up a 2 m cliff as a horseman and a horse unify.
Many people come to worship to have a share of luck from the brave ritual and wish for prosperous business and academic development.
