「忠臣蔵」で有名な大石内蔵助の妻“りく”の生誕の地を舞台に、大石りくを顕彰するとともに豊岡を広くPRするまつりが開催されます。初日には大石りく奉賛会主催の「大石りく追悼法要（香林会館）」などが、2日目にはオープニングセレモニーなどのステージイベントのほか、音楽隊や豊岡りく娘行列、子ども義士行列、元禄りく踊りなどのパレードが行われます。会場にはうまいもん屋台村も繰り出します。

The stage is the birth place of Oishi Yoshio's wife Riku, known from the famous Chushingura, and to celebrate Oishi Riku, the festival also promotes Toyooka to a wider audience. Oishi Riku Mourning Service is held at the Korinkaikan by the Oishi Riku Service Association. Besides the opening ceremony and stage events, the second day also has musical band performances, Toyooka Riku Musume parades, Kodomo Gishi parades, Genroku Riku Dance and other parades are held. An umaimon stall village also appears at the venue.
