養父神社から「ハットウヨゴザルカ」の勇ましい掛け声とともに街中を練り歩いたみこしは、片道約20キロの斎神社を目指します。重さ約150キロもあるみこしを担いで、激流の大屋川を渡る「川渡御（かわとぎょ）」は一番の見ものです。

Mikoshi walks throughout the town from Yabu Shrine with courageous call of "Hatto yogozaruka" to head for Itsuki Shrine which is 20 km for one way. "Karatogyo" is the highlight where 150 kg Mikoshi is carried into a rapid current of Oya River to cross.
