新井地区の新井崎神社で行われる祭と井室地区の若宮神社で行われる祭を総称して朝妻祭と呼ばれています。新井地区にある新井崎神社では、太刀振りと花踊りが奉納されます。

Festivals held at both Niizaki shrine in Nii district and Wakamiya shrine in Imuro district are called Asazuma Festival. Sword swinging performances and Flower dances are dedicated at Niizaki Shrine in Nii district.
