丸亀のまつりを代表する「丸亀お城まつり」は毎年5月3日・4日に行われます。“みんなでつくろう　みんなのまつり”を合言葉に、日本の太鼓まつり、まんでガンガン大行進、全日本骨付鳥選手権、丸亀の獅子舞競演、丸亀お城村、丸亀おどり総おどり大会などが催されます。

A festival that represents Marugame, the Marugame Castle Festival is held annually on May 3 and 4. With a slogan that goes "Make it with everyone, everyone's festival!", various events are held such as a Japanese Taiko Festival, Mande Gangan Parade, National Ho-netsukidori Championship, Marugame Shishimai (Lion Dance) Contest, Marugame Castle Town, and the Marugame General Dance Convention.
