高屋まつりは神輿１台と4台の「ちょうさ」が奉納の為、桜満開の中稲積山の急こう配の参道を約1.5～2tのちょうさが中腹にある高屋稲積神社まで登ります。2匹の獅子舞も奉納されます。
桜の花びらの散り方でその年の豊作を占うことから、高屋神社では田植え前に行われます。

The Takaya Festival events a venue where one mikoshi and four Chosa are dedicated, by climbing the Inazumiyama along the path during the cherry blossom bloom, the Chosa weighing 1.5 to 2 tons, all the way to the mid-section of the mountain where the Takaya Inazumi Shrine is located. Two shishi dances are also dedicated.
It is held before the planting of the rice patties, to forecast the year’s harvest by looking at the way the cherry blossoms fall.
